OUR MISSION

Circle of Health

We, Australian Friends of Rambam Charity advocate for improved health and well-being in our community through disease prevention, positive lifestyle changes and education. This is achieved by conducting a variety of health and wellness educational programs using local expertise and strengthening global collaboration with world-renowned facilities, particularly those affiliated with Rambam Health Care Campus, Israel.

*The Circle of Health is based on the Rambam's (Maimonides) statement "There is no separation between body and mind"

RAISING AWARENESS FOR SUDDEN HEART FAILURE

Each year, AUSFORAM's Circle of Health programme partners with Maccabi Cycling Club to ride 50 kilometres to raise awareness of sudden heart failure in adults and children. A number of routes have been planned to accommodate everyone who wishes to ride! Closer to the event, we will also host an educational session to discuss how to prevent this condition, including the use of cutting-edge technologies.  Join hundreds riders and support this cause!

Collaborative research

Collaborative research project on Ovarian Cancer connecting Rambam with Hudson Institute at Monash Health.
AusiMed has accepted the research project and will sponsor it, including a 1-year fellowship for a Rambam doctor to join the team at Monash Health.
As a result of the collaboration between Rambam (Dr. Ruth Perets) and Hudson Institute, we are expecting Dr. Boulos from Rambam to arrive soon to work on the project.
We have other ongoing conversations with The Alfred Hospital and others.
